Teaching has always been the passion of Carla Anne Smith, CMA, CPC, CPC-I. She is a Medical Coding Instructor at the Oneida-Madison County BOCES in New Hartford, NY where she regularly instructed over 200 students at a rate of 20per class in 100 hr coding courses she facilitates for the institution.
She has developed and implemented an advanced coding certification courses and takes pride in a batting average of 90% of the students passing the National Certification Exam.
Throughout the year, Ms. Smith would handle other courses which include Basic Medical Coding; Advanced Medical Coding; Medical Terminology; Anatomy and Physiology; Certification Prep Course and Medical Office Assistant.
