Joseph Newsome, CPC®, CPC-I®, CEMC®, HCS, HAS. Joseph has extensive experience with Coding and Billing. Prior to joining MCHC, he worked for a large California Medical Management Company. His duties included training, auditing, performance audits, compliance and documentation.
Joseph’s practice management experience has allowed him to work as an independent consultant. He has now focused his energy full-time to educate those wanting to become certified coders and those seeking continuing education units.
He has served on the Advisory Board of educational institutes and has dedicated his service to the success of his students.
Joseph is accredited as a Certified Professional Coder,Certified Professional Coding Instructor, and E/M Auditor Specialist by the American Academy of Professional Coders.
